My name is Mary DeMauro, and I'm an artist from the East Coast of the United States (or America, or the USA, or whatever you want to call it).
I've kept several blogs before--at least one at this same URL--but I stopped for various reasons. Time to try it again!
So! About me. As I said, I'm an artist who primarily does either gothic art or portraits of people and animals. Storytelling is my greatest passion, and I enjoy telling stories through pictures. I also enjoy writing, and have the first draft of a novel in the process of being edited. Professionally, I am a social media manager who does some graphic design one the side.
About a year ago I graduated from university, majoring in art (graphic design) and minoring in film studies.
I also have a deep love for animated films. Entering that industry didn't work out for me for several reasons, but I still have ambitions in concept and story art. However, I also wanted to go into fine art, so that's where I am for now. ^_^
